Ted K Dass

Dr. Ted K Dass has an interdisciplinary outlook towards life and work. His academic training includes degrees in environmental science, social work, and human resources management. He earned his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on M&A and HR leadership.
Ted earned his industry experience as an executive in the corporate-HR division of India’s largest power company, NTPC Ltd., where he was part of the corporate employee relations team. He then moved to the University of Cincinnati (UC), USA, to earn his doctoral degree. At UC he also served on the faculty, where he taught Master’s-level HR courses, served as a faculty advisor to UC’s MHR programme, and was a Faculty Fellow at UC’s Center for Organizational Leadership. He has co-authored papers on leadership and social networks, and continues to pursue his scholarly activities in these areas.
With over 20 years of meaningful experience in academia and industry in 2012 he founded Evidarc Consulting, a management consultancy that helps organisations develop metrics to measure impact, lead organisational change, and employ social network analysis to enhance organizational effectiveness. He takes an asset-based approach to helping organisations and is adept at bringing an “outsider’s view” to enhance decision-making in organisations.
Ted spends his free time working to save Bangalore’s once-beautiful lakes, and enjoys the adventures of Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes and John Le Carré’s George Smiley.
