International Development Consultant

Andrea Rodericks is an international development consultant who focuses on programme and organisational design and effectiveness and curating multi-stakeholder partnerships to address complex development challenges. She has worked on development and humanitarian issues since 1991 in management and technical roles, concentrating her efforts on Asia and Southern Africa. Most of her professional work has been with the global organisation CARE International, and has focused on program design and development, and enabling teams to be more effective in their work toward inclusive governance, social inclusion and gender justice.

Andrea’s current interests lie in the areas of intergenerational justice; cultivating organisational and individual collaboration mindsets; and leadership and learning in social change organisations working in complex environments. She is a member of the Synergos senior fellows’ global network that connects civil society leaders committed to collaboratively addressing underlying causes of poverty and inequity. Andrea spends most of her time in India where she is currently immersed in a citizen’s movement advocating for fair mining governance and protection of the commons for future generations. She has a master’s degree in public policy from the Woodrow Wilson School for Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
